Sunday 16th September
The path around the lake at Cresswell Crags wasn't the most exciting we'd encountered. Suggested we follow a footpath which looked inviting. Trouble was, although interesting it went on for miles and miles without a hint of going in the direction we wanted. We did come across some pheasants which were unusually black in colour and some very tasty blackberries. Eventually we made it back to the car six minutes before they locked the barrier, phew...!
