After negotiating a field of rather docile cattle we made a round trip up to a hill and back through the village of Birchover. On the way we found some rare breed's cattle, ancient stone sheds, daffodils still in bloom and a barn containing white emus (presumed).
Birchover is well versed in catering for walkers, providing a well equipped shop (Graham and Robert couldn't go past without having an ice cream) and plenty of strategically placed seats along the way.
