05.09.09: Marston's Open Day. Lovely day organised by Marstons for all their employees at all the different depots in Burton, Wolverhampton, Mansfield and Witney. They had a live band, stalls and free lunch and drink vouchers. I made earrings with visitors at £2.00 a time. Didn't make a fortune, but had a good time.

07.09.09: Enrolment Session at Allen Park. I saw three enthusiastic potential learners.

08.09.09 Tutor meeting at Rycote

09.09.09: Tutor meeting at Community House Long Eaton. Couldn't open their door.

Balloon flew over house early evening.

10.09.09: Sunny day, so went over to Ripley to take some photos for All Things Local magazine.

11.09.09: Enrolment session at Village. Kate came for introductory piano lesson. Lucy and I went to Ikea for tea - amazing sunset, got quizzed by security guards for taking photographs.

13.09.09: Lucy and I went to Melbourne Arts Festival. Not as good as last year, but still interesting. Cold and windy, nice pork cob for lunch.

14.09.09: Jewellery Class at Allen Park, 5 students

15.09.09: Start as I mean to go on. Although Hermione has not been happy ever since we got back from Italy, I decided I would go back to tap class. Much to my surprise, I received a rapturous reception with everyone asking how I was and how were things in general. How lovely everyone was to make me feel so welcome. Came home a bit stiff, but not so bad considering.

16.09.09: Lucy went off at 7.00am this morning on her way to spend three days in Paris. As Graham was in America we booked a taxi.

Jewellery workshop at Marston's, made a handbag charm.

17.09.09: Another new adult piano pupil, Luke came for introductory session.

18.09.09: Jewellery Class at Village, 11 enrolled so far. Have three deaf learners.

19.09.09: Lucy back from France, didn't enjoy her time there having fallen out with her old friends, but managed to make some new ones.

20.09.09: Graham back from America.

21.09.09: Jewellery Class at Allen Park, now have 7 students. New piano pupils today, mother and daughter Bridget and Ellen.

22.09.09: Card Class at Alfreton, 8 students, no learning difficulties, hooray! Second tap class...

23.09.09: Went to Phillipa's house in Belper for coffee. Hermione didn't like sitting on kitchen chair.

25.09.09: Jewellery Class at Village

26.09.09: Went into town on own as Lucy at work and then at Reptonia's Leaving Do. Took photos of Derby Wheel, nice weather for a change.

27.09.09: Graham and I went for a walk round Calke Abbey

28.09.09: Last Jewellery Class at Allen Park as we only have 7 learners not 8!

29.09.09: Card Class at Alfreton, tap class.
