As a pick me up on Saturday afternoon, I decided to pop to the perfume shop and buy Estee Lauder's Pure White Linen. On a whim we made a diversion to Boot's to check prices and a very strange thing happened... The nice assistant said she could offer a 10% discount (unheard of in this age of credit cards etc) so we nearly bit her arm off (metaphorically speaking) total cost £25.10. Later we redeemed my scratch card at Morrisons; total amount £25.00!
